John Huckerby has 20 years’ experience in international oil and gas exploration in the North Sea, Eastern Europe, United States and New Zealand. He recommended 10 North Sea wells for exploratory drilling, six of which were discoveries and led to field developments, including the Hudson oil field and the Davy gas field. In New Zealand he led the exploratory drilling, appraisal and development of the Mangahewa gas-condensate field and the early exploration of the Pohokura gas-condensate field. He led the technical team, which conducted the first successful hydraulic fracturing operation in New Zealand.
